As we witness lives change at the "YOU ARE THE GIFT: How Are You Packaged?" Conference. This special event will bring together over 200 Detroit-area girls ages 11-16, to explore and celebrate self-esteem and confidence. SATURDAY, AUGUST 9, 2008 WAYNE COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE Downtown Campus 8:30a.m. - 3:00p.m. The jam-packed day will inspire and teach self-worth, communication, relationships, financial stewardship, health and fitness, etiquette, peer pressure, and inner and outer beauty. Hands-on workshops and labs will include self-defense, cooking demonstrations, a spa zone with mini-manicures, and so much more!!! A continental breakfast and lunch are provided, and there will be giveaways and prizes. This event is FREE!!! In order to keep the conference free of charge we depend on generous donations from businesses, community organizations, and inspired individuals.
